myHappymind
Two of our Year 5 children and two of our Year 6 children have chosen to be St Saviour’s Mental Health Champions.
Our mental health champions are a force for positive change. They have received training on how to identify signs of distress in their peers and how to create an inclusive culture within our school. They help provide peer support, develop tools for positive mental health, create connections and belonging, and promote awareness of mental health issues.
Mental Health Champions bring real value to our school. Not only do they act as role models for other pupils, but they also ensure that everyone feels seen and heard within the school community.
We use myHappymind to create a culture of positive mental wellbeing.
All of our classes have now learnt all about their brains and how they work. This has enabled children to understand how emotions can affect the way their brains respond to situations. We continually encourage children to have a growth mindset.
We use myHappymind from Nursery to Year 6 and in all areas of learning.
Happy Breathing
Our children have signed an agreement to use happy breathing every day in school. Here are some of us in action!

Parent App
A QR code and passcode to access the 'myHappymind' parent app is located on each classroom door and in the main office. We encourage all parents and carers to download and use the app at home. Talk to the office staff or your child's teacher if you would like more information.
