Bishop Mark Visits St. Saviour's

On Monday 23rd January, Bishop Mark came to visit. He talked to the children about his life as a bishop and the important role he lives out  within the Catholic Church. He ended the assembly by blessing all the children and adults. The children were able to ask questions and it was lovely to hear some of their questions:

  • Why do you sometimes wear a pointy hat?
  • How did you feel when you were asked to be a bishop?
  • Is it hard being a bishop?
  • Did you always want to have a relationship with God even when you were a child?

We thank Bishop Mark for coming to school to see us and for the work he does in his role. Thank you too to Fr Edmund and Rob Hughes (Chair of Governors) for joining us on Monday morning as well.
